Emmanuel Welo Wemakoy is a Professional Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering mission-critical power infrastructure and renewable energy projects across North America. He specializes in high-voltage transmission systems, substations, grid interconnection, utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and data center electrical infrastructure. Emmanuel has successfully managed multidisciplinary teams, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. His expertise spans project management, electrical design, commissioning, SCADA systems, grid integration, and construction oversight. He has contributed to the successful delivery of major wind, solar, offshore wind, and transmission projects exceeding one gigawatt in capacity. Emmanuel holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in multiple U.S. states and is fluent in both English and French.
